Over a month ago I finished my first year at the Kubert School. This is a great school, dedicated to teaching comic book artists and a focus on narrative illustration. It was a fantastic year, met loads of fantastic people and feel I improved a good amount in my illustration.
Over the summer, I hope to share the work I have done this year with you. As I post newer material, you can see the new things that I have been learning come into play into my work. This piece was done the first week last September to show the basic level I was at with my illustrations, so I thought it was a good place to start:
