Check out these links to my buddies at UysFaber, where I show my entire painting process:

Part 1. Part 2. Part 3.
Before
After:
Fracture, Acrylic on Wood, 2''x3'', 2012

The following is me at the display for  my series, My ISRAEL. These pieces reflect my personal connection to Israel and how I choose to define the country as I have seen it.

Left to right they represent: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Masada and the Green Zone (where Israel ends and Palestine begins).

Each go for $600, and reflect what i hope can become a meaningful way to talk about the Jewish homeland.

Special thanks to the Fellowship, my fellow Jewish Fellows and the Wolfon Centre at Hillel.

Dov Smiley: Painting Library

Dov Smiley: Paintings and Comic art: Painting Library

Welcome's and About me

Hello to all!

This is an art blog where you can find the latest paintings and other artwork by Dov Smiley. I'm a graduate of OCADU and will be studying at the Kubert School for Comic Book Art next year, and want to share my library of artwork with the world.

Enjoy, I will leave a title and just let you look at the work and enjoy the experiences that I am trying to convey. Any interest in buying a single piece or a commission can be done by reaching me by email at dovsmiley@gmail.com or through this blog.

Have a fantastic day!
